Week 5

Its been a wonderful week full of fun, learning and culture :

たくさんの楽しさ、学び、カルチャーに触れた一週間でした

We practiced words in the 'it' family, along with our high frequency words:

"it"を含む単語を、頻出単語と一緒に学びました

We revisited all the information we've learnt about our different countries in our "match the info to the country" game:

「国の名前とその国の情報をマッチさせよう」ゲームをするために必要な情報を復習しました









And practiced our fine motor skills while creating our Japanese fans:

日本の「うちわ」を作りながら
手先の器用さを鍛えました

Learners went around the school to gather texture shadings by placing paper over any texture they could find (such as the rough tiled floor, or wire mesh fence) and rubbing over it with a pencil to create patterns. The next day they tore the paper into small pieces and then finally glued all the pieces onto paper plates in a sort of mosaic pattern to create their Japanese fans - we will be completing the project (by adding our popsicle stick handles)  in the week to come.

子どもたちは学校周辺を歩き回りながら、様々なテクスチャー（荒い手触りのタイル、ワイヤーフェンスなど）を探しました。見つけたテクスチャーの上に白い紙を被せて色鉛筆でこすり、テクスチャーのパターンを写し取りました。
翌日にはテクスチャーを写し取った紙をちぎって小さなピースを作り、紙皿の上に糊付けしました。モザイク模様を作り、自分だけのオリジナルのうちわを作りました。
（来週、プラスチックの持ち手を取り付けて、うちわを完成させます。）

Year End Performance　イヤーエンドパフォーマンス

Please learn lines. They need to know their lines as well as when to say them. You can assist with this by reading a few lines before theirs and then allow them to say theirs when it is their turn. Repeat this several times. Please encourage them to learn a line a day.
台詞の練習をお願いします。台詞を覚え、口に出して練習することが大事です。子どもたちが台詞を読み上げる前におうちの方が台詞を読み上げ、そのあとにお子様が続く、という方法でサポートをお願い致します。何度か繰り返してください。一日１ラインの台詞を覚えられるよう、ご協力をお願い致します！
